About the Journal

The Journal of Innovation, Renewable Energy and Climate Solutions, abbreviated as JIRECS, is an international open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to promoting innovative research and sustainable solutions in the fields of renewable energy, climate and sustainable development, hence its slogan: ‘Integrating technology, energy and climate for a sustainable future.’
JIRECS is published by the Digital Press of the Virtual University of Côte d'Ivoire (ENUVCI) and is a platform of excellence and inspiration, catalysing research and innovation for a sustainable and equitable future. The journal publishes original articles, research notes, critical reviews and technological contributions around a common vision: accelerating the energy and climate transition through innovation.
JIRECS positions itself as a bridge between science and concrete solutions, promoting both African and international perspectives that are shaping the ecological and energy transitions of the 21st century.
